Holy Hadith Muslim (2722)

Fast on the day of 'Ashura, but don't be [zayve] similar to the Jews, fast [likewise] the day before the next day.

Hadith from Ibn 'Abbas,

St. hadisiv of Ahmad (2154)

Imam Ahmad said: “The one who wants to fast on the day of Ashura, let him fast on the ninth and tenth. If you are doubtful about the number of months, then don’t fast for three days, and say Ibn Sirin". [Div. "al-Mug'ni" 4/441]

Sheikh Ibn al-K'ayyim saying: " The fast of this day can be seen three times: The best of them is the last one the day before and the day after the new one. Then we will come forward - until the end of the nine and tenth day of fasting, and it will show more hadiths. І after the end of the month of fasting only on the day of Ashura, the tenth day. The month of Muharram is the first month of fate Muslim calendar. This is one of the few fenced for the war, bloody care for a few months. About the importance of the month of Muharram is found in the Qur'an and Sunnah. Therefore, a Muslim may wish to spend the whole month in the service of the Almighty. As we spend this first month of rock, so mine the whole river. Imam Ghazali at the book "Ihya" write that if you want to spend the month of Muharram in ibadat, then you can be sure that this barakat will be removed and reshti months of fate.

The second hadith, narrated by Muslim, says: “After the month of Ramadan, let’s make the best of fasting for fasting, Muharram.” In another hadith narrated by Tabarani, there is: “To the one who fasts one day of the month of Muharram, he will be paid like for 30 fasts.” With one more hadeeth, fasting high on four, Friday that week of the month of Muharram.

Imam Nawawi (may Allah be pleased with him!) at the book “Zavaidu rravza” write: “From the last of the most important months, Muharram is the best for fasting.”

Month of Muharram to avenge and sacred day of Ashura.

Muharram is the month of repentance and worship of Allah, so don't waste the chance to take away the forgiveness of sins and pay for goodness!

Day of Ashura.

The 10th day of the month of Muharram is called the day of Ashura (from the word "ashara", which means "ten"). The month of Muharram, as it was said earlier, is one of the shanovanih, sacred months for Muslims. And the last day of the month is Muharram and Ashura.

The day of Ashura, as well as the previous (9 Muharram) or the coming (11 Muharram) days of Bazhan (Sunnat) are fasting. Zgіdno with one of the hadisiv, fasting on the day of Ashura cleanses the Muslim from sins for the future and the coming fates, and for kriht alms (sadaqa) on the day of Ashura the All-Vishish, give wine to the city of zavbіlshki from Mount Uhud.

On the day of Ashura, they distribute a garden, delight children and loved ones, read the Koran, and do other charitable deeds.

For the whole day fall the creation of the Almighty Heaven, Earth, Arsh, Kurs, angels, the first people - Adam and blessed Yomu. (The firmness that on this day the Heavens and the Earth were created can be logically stupid, as it follows from the fact that the heavenly bodies are the first, and the period is the second. In fact, everything is the same - the first is the period, and the heavenly bodies are the second).

The light of the day (light of the world) will also come on the day of Ashura.

On the day of Ashura, the resettlement of Adam is also brought, blessing youma in Paradise, and accepting the new repentance after the fall. On the day of Ashura, a lot of happy vipadkіv fall, po'yazanih іz prophets. On the same day, the ship Nuh, blessed by you, moored to Mount Judi after the Flood; the prophet Ibrahim was born, blessed Yomu; the prophets Isa and Idris, blessed by him, ascended to heaven; the prophets Іbrahіm, blessed yoma, in the fire of the pagans, Musa, blessed yoma, that yogo followers - in the retrial, and the pharaoh drowned; Yunus, blessed youma, viishov from the womb of the ribi; it became healthy in the ailments of Ayub, blessed by youmu; Zustrivsya with the son of Yakub, bless youmu; Suleiman, bless youmu, becoming king; Yusuf, bless youmu, viyshov from v'yaznitsa.
